Florence during the high season is very busy and it is not easy entering the most important museums of the city. If you do not want to stand in a queue (in a line) for hours we have different solutions. Of course the chipest way is getting up early and being in front of the door at the opening time : 8.15 (every day BUT MONDAY) or visiting the museums after 5.30 pm (for a quick tour, as the museums close at 6.50). On the contrary if you want to visit them properly you may buy a ticket with reservation (total cost 14.00 euros) in front of the Church of Orsanmichele (via Calzaioli) where there is a very efficient tiny ticket office selling tickets with reservation for all the state museums of Florence. Only for the Uffizi Gallery you can find tickets even for the same day at the cash of the door n° 2 of the Uffizi Gallery, without joining the queue (the line).
