The nine large tapestries in wool and silk, displayed in the magnificent Sala Bianca at the first floor of the Pitti Palace of Florence, were made between 1653 e il 1668 as a tribute of Ferdinand II de' Medici to Cosimo I, the founder of the Tuscan Granducate.
