The Vasarian Corridor, built by Vasari for the Medici family, reopens after a 8 year work of restoration and renovation to bring it back to its original look. Born to join the Palazzo della Signoria to the Pitti Palace, to permit the lords of Florence to cross the city without risking, is now accessible to all from the first floor of the Uffizi Gallery. A nice walk through the aerial passage of over seven hundred metres leads to the Boboli Garden, crossing the Arno river above the Ponte Vecchio and offering a beautiful view of bridges, hills, and domes.
