At the Palatina Gallery of the Pitti Palace of Florence an original exhibition called The dream in Renaissance (Il sogno nel Rinascimento). The exhibit is divided in several sections, among them the Night, with its complex symbology, The vacancy of soul, which points out works tied to the dream and to the classical myths. Enigmatic dreams and nightmare visions show visionary works.
The section A dreaming Prince is dedicated to Francesco I de’ Medici and his temper is shown through documents, drawings and paintings. Until September 15 2013.
