After 6 years of restoration and screening, the Adoration of the Magi by Leonardo da Vinci is back to the Uffizi Gallery of Florence. The presentation will be on March 28 2017 : The magic cosmos of Leonardo da Vinci: the restored Adoration of the Magi.
The painting is the largest work by Leonardo we have so far (cm 246 x 243). The restoration succeded in retriving cromatical shades and pointed out more details which may open new iconographical meanings.
