The Kaffeehaus inside the Boboli garden in Florence has been reopened to public. The precious little building where the granduke Pietro Leopoldo from Austria drank his cofee and had a rest with his family shows inside an interesting group of four statues belonging to the second half of the XVI century: Apollo with the Capricorn, made by Poggini (once inside the Pitti Palace), the Morgante dwarf on the tartle and the Barbino dwarf as Baccus, both by Cioli and commissioned by Cosimo I of the Medici and finally the Baccus with a little Satyr by Vincenzo de' Rossi, which used to be at the Villa del Poggio Imperiale.  They are magnificent examples of the grothesque style, visible in late Renaissance gardens. Reserve a private tour of the Boboli Garden with your art expert and official guide of Florence!
