Until April 30 2023 at the Moderna art Gallery of the Pitti Palace in Florence 47 works by the German Jewish painter Rudolf Levy are on show. This espressionist painter, pupil of Matisse, spent the last years of his life, tragically ended in Auschwitz, in Florence, where he lived in Palazzo Guadagni in Santo Spirito square.
The exhibition is divided in sections, corresponding to the most important periods of his life, but it also shows documents, letters, objects belonged to the artist.
