The Foundation Palazzo Strozzi presents one of the most important exhibitions dedicated to Mark Rothko (1903-1970), master of American Modern Art. The exhibit, with more than 70 works, retraces, almost cronologically, the evolution of Rothko's painting in the splendid location of the Strozzi Palace, and put in evidence how the artist, through the color succedes in reaching a new sense of space beyond the bidemensional canvas.
