Always choose an official tourist guide: it is warrenty of quality. In order to obtain my license from the city government of Florence, 20 years ago I passed the public competition which consisted of a test and an oral part with different subjects: art history, history of Florence, art legislation and foreign languages.To be a local tourist guide demands expertise, involvment, passion, helpfullness and patience. Do not be content without quality, do choose an official tourist guide!
