Recently we have a new display inside the Vasarian Corridor which gives charm to the secret passage of the Medici family. On the part of the corridor which crosses the Ponte Vecchio 50 marble busts of the Roman Imperial period have been displayed on beautiful grey marble pedestals. Two rows of beautiful charachters of the history of the Ancient Rome will accompany our walk. You can recognize the orator, philosopher and politician Cicerone, the Roman Emperor Augusto and among the very many female portraits, even Sabina, Emperor Adriano's wife.
