Until October 30 2016 it is possible to visit a temporarly exhibition of important paintings in the Villa delle Montalve in Florence. In the Refectory of the Villa - once convent of the Montalve nuns, who since the XVII century were in charge of the education of young noble girls - some important paintings such as the Incoronation of the Virgin By Botticelli and bottega, the mystic marriage of Santa Caterina by Ridolfo del Ghirlandaio and a Crucifix by Baccio da Montelupo are shown.
This is the first step of a project which is going to create, next Spring 2017, a definitive museum, opening and restyling Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici's rooms.
