On the occasion of the showing of the just restored french-flemish tapestry of the Carrand Collection, the Bargello Museum of Florence changes its timetable. Until August 18 2013 the museum will be opened everyday, including Sundays and Mondays, from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.
It is an extraordinary opportunity to appreciate not only the magnificent tapestry (4 metres x 4 metres) made in Tournai around 1480 with the subject of the Last assault to Jerusalem by Titus in 70 a.C., but also the incredible collection of Renaissance statues the museum preserves. Reserve a private tour with your art expert and official guide of Florence and follow her among the masterpieces by Donatello and Michelangelo.
