Last September 26 the fashion brand Gucci opened its Museum at the Mercatanzia Palace in the Signoria Square in Florence. It was exactly where the famous maison was born in 1921.
The Museum is distributed on three floors in a space of 1.700 square metres. At the ground floor the Cadillac Seville designed by Gucci in 1979 and then on the other floors all the most important pieces of the brand are on show. Not only dresses and accessories but even photos and particular creations such as the Gucci Cruiser Bicycle, made in 2009 and surf boards. Underground there is the rich archive, showing the history of the fashion brand founded by Guccio Gucci in 1921.
