At last Florence has its Museums CARD. It costs 50 euros and you can use it in very many museums of Florence: state museums and city government ones. You can buy the card on line (www.firenzecard.it ) or take it directly at the Airport of Florence or at the Information points (via Cavour and S.Maria Novella square) or directly at the cash of these museums: Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, Bargello, Pitti Palace, Brancacci Chapel. The card has a validity of 72 hours since the moment of the first use and you have not to stand in line. It is a personal card therefore you need to show identity card or passport any time.
Museums included in the card pass: Medici Palace, Palazzo Vecchio (Signoria Palace) Museum of Santa Maria Novella, Bardini Museum, Brancacci Chapel, Medici Chapels, Fondazione Romano S.Spirito, Uffizi Gallery, Academy Gallery, San Marco Museum, Bargello Museum, ALL the museums in Pitti Palace (Palatina Gallery, Modern Art Gallery, Argenti Museum, Costum Gallery, Porcelain Gallery, Boboli garden), Archeological Museum, Opificio Pietre Dure, Cenacoli Ghirlandaio, S.Apollonia, Fuligno; Villa Medicea della Petraia, Villa medicea di Castello, Villa Corsini a Castello, Villa Poggio a Caiano.
