At the Strozzi Palace the recently opened exibition "Galileo - images of the Universe from antiquity to the telescope". On the occasion of the forth centenary of Galileo's celestial discoveries, Florence has decided to celebrate one of its most ingenious sons with a unforgettable and spectacular exibition until 30 August 2009. The exibition may be consider a journey back to ancient times: Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Middle Age and Renaissance and through an incredible amount of objects, instruments, drawings, it wants to give evidences of studies and theories which inspired and influenced Galileo.
