This year is the 150 anniversary of Florence Capital of Italy. From 1865 until 1871, before the unification of Italy, the capital city was moved from Turin to Florence and we want to celebrate that period. Some nice exhibitions will be on. Please take note:
At the seat of the Bank Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze (via Bufalini 6) since February 17 the exhibition of 120 paintings by Fabio Borbottoni showing views of Florence.
At the Bargello Museum, which celebrates even the 150 anniversary of its foundation, since March 20 2015 the exhibit Middle Ages on travel (Medioevo in viaggio) and then from May 20th until June 20th 2015 several lectures celebrating the Anniversary of the Florentine Museum.
At the Dance Hall in the Costume Gallery of the Pitti Palace since November 28th 2015 until February 2016 we commemorate the great dance Party at the Pitty Palace on November 28th 1865 held to celebrate the new capital of the Italian Kingdom at the presence of kings, ambassadors, dignitaries. The exhibition will show evening and dance dresses, suites, high uniforms, documents and music scores.
