In Florence, until next Sunday May 27 2012, the Third Edition of the Festival del Gelato (Festival of Icecream). In the central Republic Square you will assist at a fresh, delicious competition among producers . You can taste and have your icecream thinking that you are also do something good for the Pediatric Hospital of Florence because part of the revenue from the sale will be devolved to the Foundation Meyer. In front of the Strozzi Palace you can taste products made by the brand Fior Fiore Coop, icecream made with very fresh ingredients: milk cream, butter, eggs, all of the certificated by the Coop Quality. Do come and taste the hazelnut from Piemonte, the pistache from Sicily, the Cacao from Dominican Republic. Do not miss it, dive into….taste!
