Until the 1st of November the Museum Medici Chapels will be home of a interesting exibition regarding Ferdinando de' Medici, second son of Cosimo I, who became grand duke after his brother's death. As his motto was "Majestate tantum" (Only with majesty) this is why the title of the exibit which shows objects of exquisit artcraft.  He decided to built the Mausoleum  of the family, which was his father's dream, the massive chapel with a wonderful semi- precious stone in lay work. The exibition shows projects and samples as well as paintings showing his famous wedding with Cristina of Lorreine.
