In the Salone dei Cinquecento at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence,  an endoscopic sound will search the gap behind the wall where the frescoes by Giorgio Vasari are. Scholars suppose that the famous Battle of Anghiari by Leonardo da Vinci in 1503 might be discovered. In 1563 Vasari received the commission for the new decoration of the large room and  scholars are almost sure that he did not destroyed Laonardo’s work, but he protected it behind a fake  wall. A few documents testify the delivery of a great amount of bricks, probably used for the protecting wall.
The research is supported by the National Geographic with the Florentine City  Government and the Sovrintendenza (Supervisor State Office).
Waiting for the results, please do choose your official, authorized guide in Florence and visit the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio. Reserve a private tour to bring the Medici back!
