Bill Viola at the Strozzi Palace of Florence from march 10 2017 until July 23 2017. A great exhibition presenting the master of contemporary videoart through his production from 1973 until nowadays. His thecnological and aesthetic research has always passed through an dialogue between the ancient and the contemporary, as the american artist has always been inspired by the great masters of the past.This is the reason why the exhibition will be joined, with a special ticket, to the Opera del Duomo Museum and the Baptistery where two famous works by Viola Observance and Acceptance will be visible, to be related to the Mary Magdalen by Donatello and the Pietà by Michelangelo (both in the Museum of the Opera del Duomo).
