From October 16th 2010 to January 16th 2011 Figline Valdarno, small village surrounded by walls in 1251 by the Florentines, will put up at the Palazzo Pretorio, the exhibit “ Art in Figline. From the Master of Mary Magdalen to Masaccio”. It consists of 22 works from different churches of the nearby area, from private collections and from the Uffizi Gallery of Florence, made between the second half of the 13th century and the first half of the 15th century by some of the most representative members of Florentine figurative art. Among them the Master of Mary Magdalen, the Master of Varlungo, but even Lorenzo Ghiberti and of course Masaccio,
It is a small but precious exhibition and a great opportunity for visiting a rich and nice area not far from Florence. Book an official local guide it will be easier!
Timetable: Every day from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 7:00 (except Christmas day and January 1st )
