From April 8 2014 until November 2 2014 The Medici Chapels Museum of Florence dedicates an exhibition to the last years of Anna Maria Luisa de Medici’s life. The exhibit: Art and Politics. The Palatin Electress and the last season of Medici commission in the Church of San Lorenzo is organized in five sections to show the personality of the Princess, her youth, her wedding, her coming back to Florence after her husband’s death, her project of decorating the Church of San Lorenzo and her death. In the last section some medals and objects found out in her grave will be displayed together with the results of some researches on her body remains. These researches were carried on by a cooperation between the Rem Museum of Mannheim, the Medici Chapel Museum, the Archeological State section and the Historical and artistic State section of Florence and Tuscany ( Sovrintendenza).
