Tomorrow, Saturday December 17 2011 the eight new rooms of the Grandi Uffizi in Florence will be inaugurated. They are located at the first floor of the Uffizi building, but the access is from the atrio of the Cafeteria, passing trhough an armed concrete tower which hides the staircase. The new rooms show ultramarine blue walls and house Flemish Spanish and French paintings belonging to the XVI and XVII century.
