2013 will be an year rich of event in Florence! In the first six months we will have 3 important exhibitions. We start in March when the Uffizi Gallery hosts the exhibit Norma and Capriccio. Spanish in Italy at the beginning of the "modern style", paying a particular attention to Berruguete's work and to the influence of italian manierist art on XV century spanish artists.
On March 19 the exhibition Luxury and Elegance. French porcelaine and the Ginory Manifacturing will open at the Argenti Museum of the Pitti Palace (until June 13 2013). The show wants to put in evidence the rich florentine collection and the Doccia manifacturig production between Napoleon's domination and the Loreine Augsburg's one.
Besides from March 25 until October 6 2013 at the Medici Chapels of Florence opens the exhibition dedicated to Leo X: In the Medici Splendour. Pope Leo X and Florence, to celebrate the fifth centenery of the Medici pope's election and his influence on florentine art and politics.
