Alessandra Gardin
Born in Florence, Alessandra lives in the city’s historical center with her husband and two almost-grown sons.
She received a degree in Art History at the Università degli Studi di Firenze as well as her Master’s Degree in Medieval and Modern Art History at the same university.
Alessandra attended the British Institute of Florence and received the Certificate of the University of Cambridge for English language. She pursued advanced studies in Humanism and the Renaissance at the famed Warburg Institute in London.
Before becoming a guide, Dr. Gardin taught Italian Literature and Latin in local high schools. She has been working full time as a licensed tour guide in Florence since 1998 and belongs to the National Association of Tourist Guides in Italy (ANGT).
