The Costume Gallery at the Pitti Palace of Florence has recently reopened with the exhibition "Germana Marucelli (1905 -1983). A visonary at the origin of the Made in Italy". The exhibit, dedicated to Germana Marucelli, Florentine fashion designer, consists of 150 pieces which dialogue with art pieces and jewels done by the Italian artist she worked with. The curators wanted also to recreate her intellectual and cultural circle , attended by poets and artists such as Ungaretti, Montale, Quasimodo, Fontana, Campigli, Sottsass and many more in the 1940's and in the 1950's.
