Until 25 March 2012 the Museum Alinari of History of Photography in Florence presents an exhibition dedicated to Brian Duffy (1933-2010), the legendary english photographer famous for his photos of musicians, actors and fashion models of the Swinging London in 1960s. At the apex of his career he gave up and after gathering all his photographs in the garden of his house, he burnt them. After years of research his son Chris succeded in recuperating from all over 160 photos: from Hollywood stars such as Michael Caine and Sideny Poitier to the rock stars John Lennon and David Bowie to the fashion model Jean Shrimpton and Joanna Lumley.
